CORFU. Skripero Secondary School teachers distribute refilled bottles of water to pupils.
This is part of their school waste management plan. They aim to reduce the use of plastic bottles and distribute free water to pupils with the reverse osmosis process.
At Skripero Secondary School pupils recycle mainly paper and plastic. Each class has its own recycling bin and at the end of the school day a special team, called 'garbage busters', empties these bins into the large recycling bins. The recyclable materials are weighed and then given for recycling.
