Concert with extracts from "Axion Esti" - orchestra, choir and narration

CORFU. On the occasion of the National Anniversary for 28 October 1940 the Metropolis of Corfu, Paxos and Diapontia Islands and the Agios Mathaios Cultural Society are co-organizing a concert.
The concert will have extracts from Axion Esti (Worthy It Is) - poetry by Odysseas Elitis and music by Mikis Theodorakis. The Society's Mixed Choir will take part accompanied by the orchestra conducted by Pericles Papadopoulos, vocalist Kostas Kavadias and actors Sotiris Yiannoulis and Artemis Doukaki.
Sunday 28 October at 19:00 in the amphitheatre at 'Platytera' Foundation for the Chronically Ill.
