Concert for Palestine in Upper Square
CORFU. Sunday 15 June. Palestine is being razed to the ground, Palestine is starving!
The 'Corfu Solidarity Initiative with the Palestinian People' is organising a solidarity concert in the Upper Square on Sunday, June 15. In their announcement, they state the following:
'Israel, backed by the USA and with the tolerance of Western governments, is committing a genocide! We cannot remain passive in the face of this crime! We cannot stay silent while small children and innocent people are being bombed or dying from starvation!!!
We stand with the Palestinian people, we fight alongside them for Peace, Independence and Justice!
These days, thousands of activists from around the world are marching toward Gaza, by sea and by land! The "March to Gaza" has already begun its journey to open paths of Peace and Humanity! Israel’s attack on the Madleen and the abduction of the 12 activists on board does not intimidate us—instead, it gives us even greater momentum to fight against the INTERNATIONAL TERRORISTS!!!
We stand in solidarity with the March to Gaza, we are following their journey moment by moment, and on Sunday, June 15, the day they reach the borders risking their very lives, we are organising a SOLIDARITY CONCERT in the Upper Square of Corfu Town During the event, there will be an attempt to connect live with those in solidarity who will be there!
