Memorandum of Cooperation signed by Ionian University, Corfu Municipality, AOCTA and fedHATTA

CORFU. The first positive action to come from the Corfu Tourism αείForum which, according to the organizers, is aiming at the establishment of a Destination Management Organization (DMO).
At the 2nd Corfu Tourism Conference a cooperation agreement was signed by the local travel agents' association (AOCTA) and the Hellenic Association of Travel Agents (fedHATTA). The two Presidents Vassilis Kaloudis and Lysandros Tsilidis shook hands and settled the professional differences.
The Municipality of Corfu was also included as was the Ionian University, which will soon have a Department of Tourism Economy.

FedHATTA board members and several other members are in Corfu for the conference and in the next few days will be in contact with Corfu tourist professionals.
