CORFU. Lefkimmi residents demonstrated in the historical centre of Corfu Town.
The protest march on Sunday evening began at Pentofanero, passed through Liston and the main roads in town before returning to Liston. Protestors carried banners with their demands for waste management and protests against Lefkimmi landfill and the police presence in South Corfu. They distributed leaflets with their demands in Greek and English.
