Package with 36kg cannabis washed up on Othonoi shore

OTHONOI. The package was found by Othonoi Port Authority officers on Fiki Beach on the north coast of Othoni Island.
Officers from the local port authority were patrolling the area and found a nylon package with 4 smaller packages inside it containing unprocessed cannabis weighing 36.585kg and seawater.
A patrol boat was called to the area immediately to help search the wider sea and land area for any more narcotics or people who may be connected with the package. Nothing more has been found up to now but the search is continuing.
Othonoi Port Authority is conducting the investigation.
