CORFU. At just after 19:30 last night some bathers on Glyfada beach saw a body near the rocks at the end of the beach.
The 58-year-old woman was taken to hospital. At just after 19:30 last night some bathers on Glyfada beach saw a body near the rocks at the end of the beach and immediately called for an ambulance and the police.
At the hospital she was declared dead, but the cause of death has not yet been confirmed.
The Police Department at Palaiokastritsa is conducting the investigation. She has been identified as a Russian tourist, born in 1960.
