PAXOS. A musical performance by Giorgis Christodoulos based on the songs of Attik.
Attik (1885 - 1944) was a significant Greek composer and singer/songwriter of the early 20th century. He was born in Athens and grew up in Egypt, where he took music lessons before moving to Paris in 1907.
Giorgis Christodoulos recently discovered unknown musical scores and compositions of Attik and since 2016 has been travelling throughout Greece and abroad presenting the songs of Attik.
He will be accompanied by Harry Stavrakaki on accordion and piano and Kostas Klagos on contra bass.
