CORFU. Benitses and Kentroma early this morning.
Fires are continuing to break out in the huge piles of refuse that have built up at the sides of roads - especially in the countryside outside town.
The most recent were in Benitses and Kentroma early this morning and on Tuesday evening in Boukari. In all instances the Fire Service responded immediately and were able to get the fires under control.
