21 immigrants rescued off the coast of Corfu

CORFU. Late on Tuesday evening a nearby sea vessel and a Coast Guard patrol boat located a boat with 21 immigrants on board off the north west coast of Corfu.
According to initial information, they are all well and are being taken to Corfu.
Following a call to the international 112 emergency number from a passenger on the boat who said they were in danger, four Coast Guard patrol boats and a lifeboat set out to locate them off the north west coast of Corfu.
