New CT for Corfu Hospital by the end of this year

By the end of the year, Corfu General Hospital will have a CT 16B. The Ministry of Health announced that they will shortly have CTs for nineteen Greek hospitals. Public hospitals will be enhanced by the addition of necessary equipment which will improve the standard of health services provided. Hospitals will be supplied with the equipment and all related services (full and integrated technical support, spare parts, accessories etc) with repayment in five (5) years and with strict clauses for continued use of the equipment for all of the contractual period. The Ministry of Health in collaboration with the Sismanoglio Hospital – which has been appointed contracting authority – has committed itself to providing the equipment by the end of 2018.
 
According to another announcement from the Ministry of Health, Corfu Hospital is one of the Greek hospitals which will provide Hepatitis C tests and treatment of without need for an appointment.
