LEFKIMMI. The tyres that had been placed as a barricade blocking access to Lefkimmi landfill were removed today in the presence of the police.
The Enimerosi camera captured the moment today when tyres and other objects were removed and loaded onto a Municipal lorry at the junction of the road leading to the facility under the watchful eye of the police.
Local residents who have property next to the road to the landfill have put up barriers around their property to prevent any widening of the road.
