CORFU. The Municipality Employees΄ Union sent a long letter in which it expresses its opposition to the contracting out of cleansing services - even temporarily - to private companies.
In the letter it describes the terrible state that personnel and equipment have got into and points out the high cost of contracting out refuse collection to private companies - funds which could be used for the better mechanisation of the Cleansing Services.
