Corfu Mountain Trail: Runners set off on 104km trail - see them live as they pass the checkpoints

There are 94 runners taking part. The run started from Ipsos village on the east coast, and will climb to the highest point of the island - Mt. Pantokrator (914m) - and then pass through traditional villages in the north, such as Old Perithia, Petalia, Perithia, Klimatia, Lakones and Palaiokastritsa. From there it goes along the west coast close to the beaches of Liapades, Myrtiotissa, Glyfada and Kontogialou along trails with stunning views of the Adriatic before climbing up to the mountain village of Agii Deka and ending at Messonghi village in south Corfu on Sunday.
