Travel agents meet with Regional Administration and Hospital in preparation for upcoming tourist season
CORFU. They expressed their satisfaction with the hospital’s readiness to respond to the increased demands of the summer season.
The President and members of the Corfu Travel Agents board are having a series of meetings with various organizations in preparation for the start of the tourist season and on Thursday 29th March they met with the Ionian Islands Regional Administration and then with the administration of Corfu General Hospital.
In their meeting with the Regional Governor they discussed the problems of Corfu’s road network and also sought a solution to the problem buses face with tree branches obstructing their way. The Governor assured them that he was working on the aforementioned problems.
There then followed a meeting with the hospital administration and visits to the emergency and outpatients departments, where they confirmed the readiness of the hospital to respond fully to the increased demands of the summer holiday season.
