‘All together’ we can restore the Sotiriotisa seafront!

The group made the following announcement:

“Everybody agrees that the Sotiriotisa seafront, with its thick vegetation, looks like a jungle as well as having become a rubbish dump. We decided that we can change the appearance – immediately – if we are willing to dedicate a day to it.

So we would like to invite everyone on Wednesday 28^th March after 15:30 to come and help clean the seafront area and spruce it up so that we can see the sea instead of the thick vegetation and people can enjoy taking walks there. With the help of machinery we will cut the grass and take care of the trees and possibly paint the kerb.

We are determined not to remain indifferent to the unacceptable condition of the area, which doesn’t reflect well on any of us. We would also like to ask people not to take walks in the area on Tuesday and Wednesday and whenever the machines are working there in order not to obstruct the work going on.

We promise that from Thursday Sotiriotisa seafront will have a completely new look. Appealing!”
