Road accident: Two people trapped in overturned car

CORFU. Two young women were trapped in their car which overturned just after 17:30 this evening (Thursday). The accident happened on one of the bends on the national Lefkimmi road near the Marbella.
Fire engines immediately rushed to the scene to free them. A police car was also there and the reason for the driver losing control of the car is at present being investigated.
It seems that no other vehicle was involved in the accident and the women don't seem to have suffered serious injuries.
According to witnesses who helped to free the women, the car went off the road towards the sea but ended up in some trees and not the water. The two women were in a state of shock but didn't suffer injuries.
