Drunk driver miraculously survives accident

CORFU. His van crashed into the dividing barrier on the dual carriageway but the driver got away with only a minor injury and damage to the van.
The accident happened at around 9.30pm on Tuesday night on Eth. Palaiokastritsas Rd at Alykes. The 40-year-old Albanian driver was given a breathalyser test, which showed that he was over the limit.
Fortunately, no other vehicles were involved although one of the street lights was knocked down. The driver was taken to Corfu General Hospital for precautionary reasons.
