Search continuing for hit-and-run driver

CORFU. The search is continuing for the driver who knocked down a 23-year-old motorcyclist on 22nd January and drove off.
It is not known in which direction the driver left and 48 hours later he/she has still not been found.
However, according to reliable sources in the Port Police, there are suspects who are being questioned as part of the investigation being conducted by the Port Authority.
The 23-year-old was taken to the Surgical Department at Corfu Hospital following the accident, but was discharged yesterday.

“There was a road accident on Monday morning on Eth. Antistaseos Rd in Corfu when a 23-year-old motorcyclist crashed into the side of a car – details unknown – which left the scene. The car driver is being sought. As a result of the accident the 23-year-old was taken by ambulance and admitted to Corfu General Hospital. An investigation is being conducted by Corfu Central Port Authority.”
