Ferry boats not sailing due to strong winds

CORFU. The strong winds in the Ionian have caused problems for the ferry services.
Corfu Port Authority has prohibited open-type ferry boats from sailing to Igoumenitsa, Lefkimmi and Paxos this morning due to Force 7 and Force 8 winds in the area.
The Port Authority said that the prohibition has been in force since early this morning and will continue until there is an improvement in weather conditions.
The next ferry service is at 13:00.
