‘For Our Children’ brings Christmas to Corfu Hospital

CORFU. Kanali school choir brought some happiness to those most in need – hospital patients – when they came to sing Christmas carols today.
There was Christmas spirit at the hospital today when the organization ‘For Our Children’ organized a special event for the patients, old and young, as well as the hospital staff.
The Kanali Primary School Choir, led by Christina Kalliaridou, sang traditional and classical carols, bringing a smile to the lips of those who most need it – the patients. The hospital, just as it has done the previous two years, had sweets available in the entrance area for the staff and choir as well as small gifts for the children in the choir and young patients.
The first children’s books for the new library in the Paediatric Unit were also presented to the hospital. ‘For Our Children’ along with the Ionian University and professor Petros Kostagiola are collecting books to stock the new library for the young patients.
