Start of conference on Corfu Tourism this morning

CORFU. The conference on Corfu Tourism began this morning with an opening address by the mayor, Kostas Nikolouzos, at the Chamber of Commerce. This is the venue for all of today’s sessions.
Included in the first day’s engaging programme, there are sessions on destination management, land use and planning, training and the employment market and new technologies in tourism.
On Sunday, the conference moves to the Ionian Academy and will include presentations by the president of the Hellenic Confederation of Commerce and Entrepreneurship, Vasilis Korkidis, and the president of the Hellenic Confederation of Professionals, Craftsmen & Merchants, Giorgos Kavathas. There will also be sessions on tourism and small & very small businesses as well as the effects on the local market and public infrastructure.
