Police donate blood in honour of their patron saint

CORFU.In honour of their patron saint Artemis, members of the Hellenic Police Force donated blood voluntarily with both old and new police officers participating in the effort.
In celebration of the name day of St. Artemis there will also be a liturgy at 8am on Friday in the chapel of St. Artemis in the Police Department’s headquarters in Ioulia Andreadis St, followed by a Doxology at 11am. At 11.45 the Police Chief will read the Daily Order.
On Friday there will be a photography exhibition, ‘The Presence of the Police in Corfu Over Time’, which will be open to the public from 12.00-14.00 and 17.30-22.00.
