Greek President Honours Volunteers at Corfu Hospital

CORFU.Following the opening of the Capodistrias Museum the Greek President, Prokopis Pavlopoulos, visited Corfu Hospital to see the work that volunteers had done there.
The voluntary initiative ‘All together for Corfu’ presented the new green area that they had created to the hospital administration. The project started in spring and continued through the summer, with tree-planting and landscaping being carried out in the hospital grounds. The President took time out from his busy schedule to honour the volunteers’ hard work and spent time talking to the people there and being photographed with volunteers, children, Scouts and Guides.
