Fatal Sea Accident with Swiss Woman in Northern Corfu

CORFU.The body of a Swiss woman was found on the coast of northern Corfu on Saturday morning. Her husband, who was discovered later, was taken to Corfu Hospital.
The couple had hired a boat at Chimara in Albania on Friday evening and it seems that they were overcome by the sea currents. The Albanian Coast Guard are investigating the incident and the Hellenic Port Authorities were also informed. The couple set out on their fatal boat trip from Porto Palermo, Chimara in Albania, formerly a submarine base but now a tourist resort. The husband, who was taken to Corfu Hospital, is now out of danger.
