CORFU.Registration opened on Sunday 15 October for the 7th Corfu Mountain Trail.
Once again the major sponsor will be Messonghi Beach Holiday Resort.
This year Greek and foreign journalists have shown an interest in the event and were present at the press conference held at the Municipality of Corfu Faliraki hall to coincide with the opening of registration. The Hungarian Balázs Simonyi, 6 times Spartathlon champion, film director and leading actor in the documentary Ultra:’ The Real Marathon’ was present at the conference and talked about the Spartathlon. The documentary is now showing at cinemas and is candidate for the Best Documentary Award at the European Film Academy.
