CORFU. In Avliotes square on Easter Saturday, 11 April, at 10:00 a.m.
Avliotes Cultural Society, in collaboration with the Parents and Guardians Associations of the local Primary School and Kindergarten, is organising an event to celebrate the First Resurrection.
The event will take place on Easter Saturday, April 11, at 10:00 a.m. in Avliotes square. Residents and visitors are invited to take part in the revival of the traditional “pot-throwing” tradition (botides), helping to preserve and pass on Corfiot tradition to younger generations.
