Temporary road closure between Agios Ioannis Peristeron and Moraitia

Due to road surface restoration works, traffic and parking are suspended on the Corfu–Lefkimmi Road, on the section from the area of the Marbella Hotel in Agios Ioannis Peristeron up to Moraitika, near the Miramare Hotel.

Cars (Corfu → Lefkimmi):
Vryoni, Ponti, Agioi Deka, Strongyli, Messonghi

Cars (Lefkimmi → Corfu):
Messonghi, Strongyli, Agioi Deka, Ponti, Vryoni

Vehicles up to 10 tons (Corfu ↔ Lefkimmi):
Messonghi, Agios Matthaios, Vouniatades, Agioi Theodoroi, Kastellanoi, Milia, Vryoni, and vice versa.

Trucks over 10 tons:
Traffic is suspended from the Municipal parking area in Benitses up to the Messonghi roundabout.

Attention:
The municipal road of Agios Ioannis (near Marbella) becomes one-way toward Strongyli, and passage is permitted only for cars.

The Ionian Islands Regional Authority / Directorate of Technical Services is responsible for placing complete and appropriate signage (warning, regulatory, and informational).

The relevant Police Departments (Achillion, South Corfu) and the Corfu Traffic Police will supervise the signage and indicate any additional safety measures.

Drivers are requested to pay attention, follow the signage, and comply with police instructions to avoid accidents.
