A major river-cleaning operation began in Potamos at midnight on Thursday. The operation, a collaboration between the Municipality’s Civil Protection service and the Regional Authority, aims primarily at removing the debris that has accumulated in the riverbed.
The aim is to restore the smooth flow of the water and to reduce the risk of flooding. The work is being carried out through coordinated efforts and the use of specialised equipment.
