CORFU. The first scheduled event will take place outside the Palaiopolis Museum, featuring a concert by the Corfu ΄San Giacomo΄ Municipal Choir, on Wednesday, September 3rd at 20:00, and is open to the public.

The European Institute of Positive Sciences and Applications (EISA) is organising its summer and autumn activities in Corfu, which began on August 24 and will continue until September 28. The activities include scientific conferences, educational events, and cultural programmes, in collaboration with the Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands, the National Technical University of Athens, and leading European universities and research institutions.

Scientific Programme

The main scientific programme will be hosted at the Mon Repos conference centre and includes five International Working Conferences:

  • Workshop on Standard Model and Beyond: August 24 – September 3

  • Workshop on Tensions in Cosmology: September 2 – 8

  • Workshop on Quantum Gravity and Strings: September 7 – 14

  • Cost Action CaLISTA General Meeting 2025: September 22 – 24

  • ISMD 2025, 53rd International Symposium on Multiparticle Dynamics 2025: September 21 – 28

Public Lectures and Cultural Events

  • Public Lectures: These will take place at the Corfu Solomos Museum and are aimed at the general public, educators, and high school students, with the goal of promoting scientific education.

  • Cultural Events: These will be held in the courtyard of the Palaiopolis Museum. The first scheduled event is a concert by the Corfu 'San Giacomo' Municipal Choir, which will take place on Wednesday, September 3, at 20:00, and is open to the public.
