Municipality announces tender for reconstruction of Rena Vlachopoulou Theatre in Palaiopolis
CORFU. The wooden frame will be replaced with a metal one with a capacity of 420 spectators. The reconstruction cost is 220 thousand euros.
The open online tender was announced on Friday, 26/7. Its objective is the supply and installation of a new circular metal theatre, in the same location where the previous wooden theatre was situated in the Palaiopolis archaeological site. It will have at least 420 seats, with ten tiers and four or five access aisles.
The project is funded by the "PHILODIMOS II" programme and the budget amounts to €220,000 (plus 24% VAT). The contract duration is set at six months from the date of signing.
The tender will be conducted through the online procurement process, i.e., using the platform of the National System of Online Public Procurement (ESIDIS) via the web portal www.promitheus.gov.gr. The deadline for submitting online bids is Wednesday, 14/08/2024, while the online unsealing of bids will take place on Monday, 19/08/2024.
