ZEN – Energy in Motion: Kimono The Sweet Desire at Corfu Museum of Asian Art
CORFU. On Sunday 11 October, in the inner colonnade of the Old Palace.
A unique musical work will be presented on Sunday 11 October, offering a metaphysical dialogue through music, sounds, vibrations and frequencies.
It is a one-of-a-kind experience that transports the audience to a state somewhere between dream and reality. As the organisers put it, “Silence is not empty, it is not a void... it simply fills in what is missing!”
The musical composition for the performance is by Spyros Rouvas, composer and Deputy Conductor of the 'Mantzaros' Philharmonic Society.
An exceptional team of performers will take part in this musical event:
-
Socrates Anthis (Professor of Trumpet, Conductor of the 'Mantzaros' Philharmonic Society)
-
Spyros Gikontis (Associate Professor of Violin and Chamber Music at the Ionian University)
-
Spyros Aspiotis (Professor of Percussion)
-
Ambrosios Vlachopoulos (Professor of Cello)
-
Praxila Botou (Flute)
-
Anastasia Tzilianou (Ancient Greek Lyre and Vocals)
-
Sophie Andrée (Performance with ancient Asian instruments, antique Tibetan singing bowls, bells, tingshas and claims)
The performance will take place on Sunday 11 October in the inner colonnade of the Old Palace.
