"Vivienne Pittendrigh, who is being laid to rest tomorrow (Wednesday), was a lover of music and of Corfu.
She was the creator and the soul of Divertimenti in Corfu and the Chamber Music Festival. Vivienne was a citizen of the world who constantly tried to make us privy to the magic of music.
She was born in Australia and over the last decades chose to live in Corfu, which she felt to be her home and for wwhich she cared very much.
Her friends from all over the world will remember her with much love for her great culture and the persistence with which she pursued her goals.
I would like to express my condolences to her family and friends."
