More spent in less time – the example of Corfu

According to an INSETE report based on data from the Bank of Greece, Greek tourism is seeing continued growth in visitor arrivals and tourism revenue, although the average duration of stays is decreasing. The Ionian Islands remain one of Greece΄s top destinations, as the focus of the tourism debate shifts from visitor numbers to the economic value each traveller generates.
