Earthquake early Thursday morning near Cephalonia

ARGOSTOLI. There was an earthquake of 4.1 Richter (as recorded on the European EMSC) at 2.15am this morning in the sea not far off the western coast of Cephalonia.
According to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), the epicentre was 22km west of Argostoli with a depth of only 2km.
The Geodynamic Institute at the National Observatory of Athens, however, had a different recording – 3.6 Richter and a depth of 5km.
