CORFU. Following negotiations, the renewal of the Collective Labour Contract for 2018 has finally been agreed.
The agreement refers to the Corfu-Igoumenitsa-Diapontia Islands ferry services. In addition to the above agreement, the seamen’s demand for a 1-hour break per day was accepted, as was the demand for a night shift bonus. The issue of the ‘closed type’ ferry boats being docked for 5 months during the winter period still remains unresolved.
