Corfu Municipal Theatre: Backstage flooded

CORFU. The play ‘Askitiki’ is being performed tonight at the Municipal Theatre by the National Theatre of Northern Greece.
Due to the weather conditions, the theatre group couldn’t leave Igoumenitsa and so the press conference scheduled for this afternoon was cancelled. It gave us a chance, however, whilst we were at the theatre, to go on stage and see with our own eyes what happens backstage when it rains. The whole area including the scenery was damp and the floor was covered in water that was dripping from the roof.
