Pandotis donates defibrillator to ΄Old΄ Philharmonic Society

The Old Philharmonic Society has received a donation of an automated defibrillator and an electronic blood pressure monitor from Pandotis.
Present at the Society’s museum on Thursday, September 25, were Pandotis President Nikolouzos, who also serves as Secretary General of the Panhellenic Federation of Blood Donor Associations (POSEA), and Ioannis Mexas, First Vice President and Development Officer for Corfu of the affiliated Pandotis/KEDMOP – “Gift of Life” network. They formally handed over the two devices to the President of the Corfu Philharmonic Society, Spyros Padovas.
Mr. Nikolouzos stated:
“We are especially proud, and we hope that today’s donation will serve as one more step toward strengthening this important and vibrant musical and educational institution in times of emergency. At the same time, it sends a message that together we can promote the value of prevention and care for our fellow human beings.”
Also attending were board members Spyros Metalinos, Christos Vlastos, conductor Spyros Prosoparis, and Christos Louvros.
Mr. Mexas added that the defibrillator itself was donated by the charitable organisation Apagio.
