In the former location of Square, you will have the opportunity to enjoy Dry-aged cuts such as Rib Eye or Tomahawk. Among the menu suggestions, the slow-cooked lamb shank braised with caramelised roasted carrots, sweet potato puree, and black garlic & oregano sauce stands out, as well as the exquisite beef carpaccio.
The menu also includes handmade pasta, delicious burgers, creative vegetarian options that highlight the rich flavour of vegetables, as well as various platters of cheeses and cold cuts, with an emphasis on high-quality ingredients.
A special place is also held by the Bourbon fries—golden, crispy fried potatoes with bourbon barbecue sauce, cheese cream, crispy bacon, and aromatic herbs! I don’t think there is a taverna with a reputation greater than that of Tripa in Kynopiastes, or one that has hosted so many important personalities. It was created by Uncle Spyros Ifantis, and many notable figures have passed through the place, including Aristotle Onassis with Jackie, Anthony Quinn, Melina Mercouri, Francois Mitterrand, and many others. Seasonal salads, a variety of cold cuts and cheeses, sausages, stifado, sofrito, pastitsada, real fried potatoes with grated cheese, roasted pork, and roasted lamb are all served. The Du Lac restaurant is located a short distance from the town in the Dafnila area, on the main road, just before Dassia. It offers a warm and comfortable space with a pleasant environment, and you can visit daily from 1:00 p.m. until late in the evening.
