4th Experimental Primary School pupils visit Equestrian Club
CORFU. The children had a unique and enjoyable experience, as they enjoyed interacting with the horses, learned about their care, the history of horse riding and the importance of responsibility towards animals.
The pupils of the 4th Experimental Primary School – Athinagoreio had the opportunity to experience something new and particularly beautiful with their educational visit to the facilities of the Corfu Equestrian Sports Club. This visit, organised in celebration of World Animal Day, aimed to offer the children a hands-on experience with horses and give them the chance to get to know the world of horseback riding up close.
During the visit, the pupils had the opportunity to:
- Have a guided tour of the equestrian club's facilities.
- Learn about the care and needs of the horses.
- Participate in basic horse riding lessons, under the supervision of experienced instructors.
- Attend a presentation on the history of horseback riding and its importance in human life.
The children had a unique and enjoyable experience, as they enjoyed interacting with the horses, learned about their care, the history of horse riding and the importance of responsibility towards animals. At the same time, they connected with nature and the environment, as the club is located in a beautiful natural setting, providing the pupils with a pleasant change from their daily routine.
