A 31-year-old maintenance worker lost his life on Wednesday morning, October 9th, after falling from the fifth floor of a hotel while working in Benitses.
He was transferred by ambulance to Corfu General Hospital, but they were unable to save him.
The fatal accident occurred shortly after 9:30 in the morning when the bucket truck, on which the 31-year-old worker from Romania was riding, became unstable, causing the bucket to tip over, and he fell from a great height.
