Renovation of Central Corfu Municipality KEP offices

CORFU. The initiative to upgrade the Citizen Service Centres (KEP) throughout the country includes a complete renovation, based on specific standards.

The five Citizen Service Centres (KEP) of the Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands are being renovated, with the work expected to last several months.

In October 2022, the Municipality of Central Corfu and the Diapontia Islands became the beneficiary of funding amounting to €235,376.80 as part of an initiative by the Ministry of Digital Governance, funded by the Recovery and Resilience Fund.

The initiative to upgrade the Citizen Service Centres (KEP) throughout the country includes a complete renovation, based on specific standards. The Central Corfu Municipality received funding for three sub-projects:

a) Procurement of computers, printers, and tablets for the use of the gov.gr wallet application: €47,244

Implementation of a visitor management system & procurement of tablets through which an application for document signing by served citizens will be available, as well as

b) Implementation of a visitor management system & procurement of tablets through which an application will be available for the signing of documents by served citizens as well as a service evaluation application: €10,540

c) Renovation work for the KEP centres: €177,592.80

As of 2023, the procurement of IT equipment was completed, and the equipment has been installed in all the municipality's Citizen Service Centres.
