Knifing in town centre restaurant
CORFU. Everything happened out of nowhere. Fortunately, the injury was only superficial.
The knifing was about an argument. The incident occured on Thursday evening in a restaurant in the Old Town Hall Square. Two employees, one Afghan (26) and one Italian (33) had an argument, with the first taking the knife from the kitchen and knifing the other's arm, causing a mess at the restaurant.
The police arrested the perpetrator who appeared before the prosecutor with the charge of intentional physical assault. A source said that the Afghan's aggression came up against the Italian's temperament and the spark was lit.
Fortunately, the injury is only superficial.
