Ionian University strengthens ties with French Academic Institutions

The exhibition of French universities was organised with great success for yet another year at the French Institute in Athens, on Friday, February 9th.

For twenty years now, this exhibition has become an important institution, and the more than 30 French tertiary educational institutions participating have the opportunity to develop collaborations with their Greek counterparts.

Representing the Ionian University were the Vice-Dean for Academic Affairs, International Relations, and Outreach, Professor Ekaterini Kampasi, and Professor Michalis Politis from the Department of Foreign Languages, Translation and Interpreting. They participated in a series of institutional meetings seeking to strengthen the academic cooperation between the Ionian University and the universities of France.

The contacts were concluded with a reception at the French Embassy in Greece in the presence of Ambassador Laurence Auer and Minister of Education, Kyriakos Pierrakakis.
