The municipality of North Corfu has acquired a new vehicle for the cleaning and maintenance of municipal bins.

The new garbage bin cleaner, which has been fully paid for, constitutes a pioneering addition to the infrastructure of North Corfu Municipality, offering advanced technological solutions for the cleaning and maintenance of municipal bins. With its impressive equipment, the bin cleaner ensures effective and rapid cleaning processes, providing a clean and healthy environment for residents. The bin cleaner performs efficient washing and disinfection of both mixed and recyclable materials bins, ensuring their hygiene, while also providing cleaning services for the area surrounding the bins, including washing the pavement. In case of emergency, it is appropriately equipped to contribute to firefighting operations.
The Mayor of North Corfu, George Mahimaris, stressed the importance of this investment, stating: "With the installation of this state-of-the-art bin cleaner, we aim not only to improve cleanling services but also to promote environmental sustainability and the quality of life of our residents."
