Passenger, 83, dies on Igoumenitsa-Corfu ferry

CORFU. The woman΄s body was taken by ambulance from Corfu Port to Corfu Hospital.

An 83-year-old female passenger died yesterday afternoon on board the ferry travelling from Igoumenitsa to Corfu.

When the ship docked her body was taken by ambulance to Corfu General Hospital for a post-mortem examination.

An investigation is being conducted by the Port Authority.
