Creation of digital application for management of visitor flow in Corfu Town

The programmatic agreement between Central Corfu Municipality and the Ionian University for the creation of a digital application to support the management of visitor flow in Corfu Town was signed by Mayor Meropi Ydraiou and the Dean of the Ionian University, Andreas Floros. The signing of this specific agreement was approved last May, and after the completion of intermediate approvals by relevant authorities, it was signed and can now be implemented.

The project titled "Smart Visitor Flow Measurement System for Corfu Town" is part of the Integrated Spatial Investment Strategy, focusing on the analysis and evaluation of visitor preferences and experiential insights to support the management of visits in Corfu Town. The budget for this project is 350,000 Euros.

The Ionian University is responsible for the development and operation of the digital application for visitor management, as well as related supporting actions.
