CORFU. 23-24 September, 10:00-16:00

European Heritage Days are being celebrated throughout Europe on September 23-24. This year's theme is "Cultural Heritage and Tradition - Testimonies of Yesterday in Today." The Capodistrias Museum, as it does every year, is taking part with free admission.

We invite you to visit on the last weekend of September and explore the museum's historical collection. Through unique items of historical value, both personal and related to the Capodistrias family and government, you can discover the life and legacy of Greece's first Governor, Ioannis Capodistrias.

The historic Capodistrias estate, known as "Koukouritsa," which houses the Capodistrias Museum, has been declared a Historic Monument due to its exceptional example of traditional urban architecture of the Ionian countryside, as well as its unique natural and man-made beauty. During your visit, you can also explore many stories about the life and nature of the estate throughout the centuries on a specially designed outdoor route.

Operating Hours for the Permanent Exhibition & Garden Café: 10:00-16:00.
