Events and local fairs 11-19 August
CORFU. Enimerosi suggests the following events, concerts and local fairs (panigiri).
A multitude of festive events and celebrations will take place on the island around August 15. Enimerosi makes the following suggestions:
Cultural August 2023 with Korakiana "Spiros Samaras" Philharmonic Society
Friday, August 11 - Band concert featuring well-known and beloved melodies conducted by Konstantinos Zervopoulos.
August 11, celebration in Kritika, Lefkimmi with Faikes band.
August 12, in Pelekas Central Square, the Pelekas Cultural and Sports Society is organising a concert with "The Ricci Project." Start time: 21:00
Theatrical performance "There is also Honour"
On Saturday, August 12, at 9:00 p.m., presented by Kynopiastes Youth Amateur Theatre Group, the theatrical performance "There is also Honour - Mavroyialouris" will take place outside Agios Ioannis church. Directed by Eftychia Sourvinou-Anifantaki. Direction and sign language interpretation for the song "Mother Greece" by Annie Poulimenou.
Saturday, 12/8: "Carrying Asia Minor" dance group with the participation of Velonades Cultural Society.
Sunday, August 13: The Choir sings Mikis Theodorakis songs, based on the poetry of Odysseas Elytis.
Soloist: Despina Daskalierou, soprano.
Narration by Dora Metallinou.
Piano accompaniment: Pelli Kontogouri.
Choir conducted by Giorgos Anthis.
Participation of the "Gerasimos Lavranos" Choir from Kanalia.

Big local fair (panigiri) in Othoni
