Traffic measures in Corfu Town for Palm Sunday

CORFU. For the procession with the sacred relics of ST. Spyridon.

There will be special traffic measures in place in Corfu Town on Palm Sunday, 9 April, for the procession with the sacred relics of St. Spyridon.



- No stopping or parking between 06:00 and 15:00 along the route of the procession in the following streets: Vas. Georgiou I, Capodistriou (between Vas. Georgiou I and Arseniou), Arseniou, Donzelot, Zavitsianou (up to the junction with El. Venizelou), Dimarhou Kolla, Ilia Politi, Ag. Athanasiou Sq., Zampeli (between Moustoxidou and Ilia Politi), Capodistriou (between Moustoxidou and Acadimias) and Agoniston Polytechniou.

- The following streets will be closed to traffic from 08:00 to 15:00:

Vas. Georgiou I, Capodistriou, Arseniou, Donzelot, Zavitsianou (up to the junction with El. Venizelou), Dimarhou Kolla, Ilia Politi, Ag. Athanasiou Sq., Zampeli, Agoniston Polytechniou and Viktoros Dousmani (procession route).

- Dimokratias Ave. (traffic diverted at Douglas Column).
- St. Desylla, Aspioti, Akadimias and Zampeli (traffic diverted at the unction of St. Desylla and Georgiou Theotoki).
- Rizospaston Voulefton (except for the section between Iakovou Polila and Vraila Armeni - traffic diverted at Rizospaston Voulefton and Alexandras Ave).
- Georgiou Theotoki (in the direction towards St. Desylla - traffic diverted at 'bomba').
- Traffic will be allowed as far as NAOK up to 10:00 via Dimokratias Ave. (Douglas Column). After that it will be diverted at Akadimias, Aspioti, Rizospaston Voulefton and Vraila Armeni.

While the measures are in place traffic will be diverted to other streets.
